counting-empties
Do you want pencil lead which is graphite or do you want lead wire ? For graphite try Great Lakes Carbon Corp , I haven't delt with them for 20 or so years so I'm not sure if they are still in business . For lead wire try CH4d.com , they sell bullet swaging products and I know they sell lead wire .
clemmy
Thanks, no I was looking for actually lead as ballast for my cranks, not graphite. Most people custom pour their belly weights but as I dont add a line tie there I was looking for something quicker/cheaper. Cadman offered a nice solution if I had specific shape requirements, but from the link I've got $.04-$.02 cents for a round extruded 1/4 ounce weight is going to be hard to beat. Elken
A lot of the fishing departments in Wal-marts carry rolls of hollowcore or solid core lead; at least out here in the west...
