lipless swimbait-update

finally got one to swim without a lip. it floats with the head down slightly, maybe about 5 degrees or so. the line tie above the nose and a wide head creates the swimming motion,( i think ). kind of like a lipless crankbait. also the joints are very flexible. i used a continuous loop of Kevlar string instead of the metal hinge i've used before, resulting in a joint with no friction. it is 8 1/2" long and 3.7 oz., a bit larger than i have made before but it gave me an excuse to order a new swimbait rod:wink: . out of hooks, have to get some when the store opens, red or black?

Those are some wonderful looking baits! If the perform as good as they look, you'll be hanging a 50 incher, soon.

Cool looking lure, talk about time consuming though, wow! I have built a few of these myself and there is no way to cut corners, they flat take a bunch of time. Great job!!!
