rhahn427
Can you melt down and recast Berkley's gulp without affecting or changing it's potency? Many times bluefish will bite off tails of a bait ruining it in it's present form but it could save a bunch of cash f they could be recast without affecting the potency of the scent. Matt Becker
You can not melt them down there is ZERO plastic in them.
SwampBaits
Even the original berkley scent doesn't burn down good. It's very very stinky!! It could gag a maggot.

I tried melting them down, I wouldn't recommend it. The potency is ONLY in the liquid absorbed in the material, and it evaporates too easily. What I have been doing with moderate success, is super-gluing plastic tails onto the gulp bodies. The gulp curly tails don't swim worth beans anyhow. maltrout
I have melted down Berkley Power worms and re-poured them without any problems. I was melting the neon worms from a few years back though. I do have some gulp stuff that I am going to melt down this winter.
