cadman
Does anyone know if I can mix color paint, lacquer paint or anything else (colors blue or red) to a tube of clear silicone? I'm looking for a small amout of colored silicone, and I don't want to custom order. Is this a possible combination.... Any and all help would be very appreciated.....Thanks
nova
I wouldn't use any colors that had a solvent in it as it may react with the chemical composition of the silicone. Try using food coloring or clothing dyes. www.novalures.com
redg8r
Water-base craft acrylics work well. Used it to make a custom skirt on a bait a few years ago & still looks good today. The paint will hasten the cure time so be prepared.
