Gourd Green

Recommended Posts

I've seen gourd green by several companys and they are all a little different from each other.

For that color (from the pic) I would try LC motoroil with black and green flake. 4 oz. plastic and start with 4 drops of LC motoroil. Then go from there. It may even take a drop of amber; but start with the mo.

Let us know.

It's almost like a rootbeer with green flake

wow, I was looking at the picture that came up on the link instead of scrolling down. I can probably match the picture that came up with some watermelon grren some pearlescent, green and blk flake

Here is what I came up with just from memory of looking at the pict, yesterday

It's two colors, one is simply a clear polastic with pearlescent and gold green and black flake, the other is watermelon green 3 drops with gold smoke pearl 2 drops and a drop of pumpkin chartreuse, same flake amount and color

glad i could help, that's what this place is all about right?

I think I would ask the customer if he has a preference of the gourd green he likes. The one on Zoom's site (http://www.orderoutdoors.com/zfinesse.html) looks like a motor oil with amber brown and green flake. Real light though compared to other I see and hardly any green to it but the flake...

Hate to have to do them all over again!!!!

Yes Zoom has the worst color chart I have seen. I was trying to pour some sand and some ice trickworms, but had trouble seeing them. You can go to ebay and type in "zoom green pumpkin" for example and get a pretty decent picture. Just click on the picture of the bait and it will zoom to a close picture. I hope this helps anyone trying to find a zoom color. Saint.

Hers's a few recipies I copied in my files before the crash:

Gourd Green

Root Beer or Amber Brown with medium and large green flake will both make nice Gourd Green colors. Pumpkin works too.

Gourd Green (B)

gets real close to Zooms gourd green using LC pumpkin and medium green flake.

I don't remember an exact formula for it, but use it sparingly and you'll get there, I am thinking around 3-4 drops per 8 OZ. Try adding some small black flake too, really cool effect.
