earthworm77
I was checking out your site and saw the flipping bait...2 cav, 2pc mold. Looks a little like an Ika with a beaver tail with assorted appendages.......how does the mold fill??? I mean, will we have trouble getting those little appendages fully molded? Does the plastic have to be super hot and will salt fubar it up? Thanks! I'm really interested in it.
camrynekai
Hey stranger...how's the season been? Mine has been awesome so far, been in 25 Tourneys and have received 22 checks and have weighed in fifteen 5+ pounders. The Elgordo is still smacking them up here like crazy....what a sweet bait. That mold looks sweet and it also has plenty of vents...so it should pour like a dream. Get in touch sometime. T
Delw
The bait was sent to me by a guy back east, said it was discontinued, after we released I had some guys tell me who made it, a little while later it was re released. Its pours nice with salt. I pour them with salt. your plastic needs to be hot but not boiling hot.
GB GONE
And the original bait is: GY Flappin' Hog from ICAST 2006 The "hand poured" ones I have received from Del's mold are FAR superior to the GY bait!!! Jim
earthworm77
Thanks guys. Jim, have you poured any of those? I think I'm going to have to pick one of those molds up. Del has a bunch of molds I'm looking at. Tommy, way to go with the checks and the tanks. I'm having a hard time finding that salt we talked about. I will have several new El Gordo colors ready for fall. I'll give you a ring when I slow down a little.
Tubeman
Del, I was talking to a tackle distributer yesterday and he mentioned the first run of Flappin Hogs had run in to an infringment on another manufactuer in the states, so they had to be sent to Japan to be sold there. Yamamoto then changed either the design and or the name and re released it again.
