robbor
I have my little mold frame for vulcanizing a small mold, like jewelry style. As a recall talking to one of you guys you mentioned putting in small metal pins through some hook eyes, i was wondering if you would recommend that for this type of recessed eye jighead? reeves
Robbor, What is used in that application is some PTFE teflon rod. Something is needed to keep the hook eye free of lead when casting the jig. The teflon rod is used because the heat won't bother it and the lead won't stick to it. You could use a metal rod but seems it would be a bear to remove once the lead has been poured.
