nova
All I use is a micro torch; a thin piece of metal and a pair of pliers. Heat the metal and pass it between the 2 pieces of plastic. It bonds instantly. www.novalures.com

jmik26
This is a tool that we made up. Its a piece of stainless silver soldered to a tip. Works great for us, its a 50 watt iron. Someone else mentioned taking a piece of copper tubing and beating it flat and attaching it to a soldering iron. The other option is like what nova mentioned, just all depends what works for you. Mac10
At wal mart automotive they sell a pencil soldering iron for under 5 bucks. Place it on the stand and melt both pieces to be joined using the fat barrel part of the iron. If they mush a bit you can smooth that out with the barrell by rotating the joint against it. Good to use outdoors or with an exhaust fan nearby due to the fumes.....I've welded thousands of joints before wearing it out and having to get a new one.
