earthworm77
I love to add little false eyes and blood spots to my own pours but I'm haivd a hard time finding a decent paint. I've used the Lurecraft paint but it sucks. I have about 5 bottles that are un opened but already dried out. Anyone suggest another brand? Mattlures
How long have you had those bottles of paint. How dried out are they? Are they completly rubberized or are trhey like a thick slime?
earthworm77
They are like a melted super ball. I had the bottles for about 6 months.
dampeoples
I've brought some back by adding the thinner to it, but have not added any more since, and all the bottles are dry again. It did work the first time, but this stuff seems to cure no matter what, I think if I plan to use it, I need to use hte bottle up!
Senkosam
Spike-It Chunk Paint (most last for years) If a color dries out, they send me another no questions asked.
earthworm77
Frank, I will try that stuff, do you think it will work well for my application...just adding false eyes or dots? I'm not planning on shooting it through my air brush just yet.

Senkosam
The lateral line pattern, eyes and black back were applied with the brush that came in the bottle and the baits were dipped in clear plastic. Dye fades or bleeds throughout the plastic; chunk paint is opaque and bonds to the plastic. (kind of smells like PVC thinner) The pattern above is ch. paint applied on top of clear plastic laminate containing flor chart and orange glitter. No dyes were used. bojon
Use plenly of ventilation when using these paints. The smell coming from the paint,or the PVC cement is the same.Check the can of the cement. As I remember it is MKE that is used for thinning.CAREFUL WITH THIS PRODUCT,you may need your lungs to breath.I was so concerned that I painted outside, with a breeze blowing over the tubes. Mattlures
Bojon I can assure you the paint is not pvc glue. I know it smells like it but it is diferent. I have experimented with pvc glue and never got good results
