jrhopkins
i've been trying to get a bait that swims with the tail and think i've got it. this is a wake/shallow diver. a biggie! 9" long, 4 oz. it swims with the head almost stationary and the tail has all the action. going to try to duplicate it in a smaller size next time. i think the multiple segments and the weighting system help the swimming action to look more realistic. will try the same system on a smaller bait to see if it still works as well. oldthunder
A couple more of these guys together with this one, would look mighty fine in my frying pan.... Honestly, great looking bait. No self respecting lunge or pike should pass up this baby. Congrats on another marvelous job.... Oldthunder EagleLures. Life is too short.....FISH HARD!!!!! bdhaeh
Very nice bait! Is that one made out of PVC? I tried to get a sinking bait to swim with only the tail and I could not make it work with poplar. It worked fine on top, but did not like being completely submerged. I don't think that you should have a problem downsizing though, even to 5 or 6 inches.
nova
Man; I thought they might have sent you a hat and shirt or even a coffee mug. You would think that doing what they do they should realize how much work goes into a handmade bait. By the way, nice baits on your site. www.novalures.com

Snax
Another masterpiece! I'm one of your biggest fans John. I KNOW what it takes to make baits at that high a level and yours are some of the best I've seen. Keep it up!
