HookUp Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 I haven't found a section on TU for anglers sucess's with their homemade baits, so if this thread's in the wrong place, or if these is a section, please let me know or move the thread to the right place. I've been tinkering with my baits for years, then started building them seriously about a year ago. Caught many fish with them, but finally nailed a nice bass on a small white jig w/ a grub trailer ... Anyone else want to share a 'fish caught w/ their bait' pix? What you catch him one? You wont believe me but I caught it on a 1/2oz black blue poisen jig with a 3.25" trailer. I know your rollin your eyes but thats what I caught it off of. MDC, that is a post spawn fish. He does need a sammich. That skinny fish was about 5.5lbs. If it was at full size it would have been a real nice one.
