pastorshane
Does anyone have a good baby bass recipe? Thanks Shane
GB GONE
Shane... I will post a recipe and picture tonight but mine is 3 colors now. Depends on what bait(s) you are doing as to if you want to go with 2 or 3 colors. My bb color resulted from my swim bait pours. Jim
pastorshane
Jim right now I am pouring flukes, and in the next few days stick baits. But I am going to start pouring ribbon tails and bush hogs. Thanks Shane
One Sock
check my baby bass laminates in the gallery and let me know what you think, if you like them pm me
earthworm77
I'd probably start laminating a pearl or dirty pearl belly with a watermelon back. If you can find the right paint or dye....use black to make a splotchy lateral line.
GB GONE
Here is a picture of one of the baby bass I did recently Shane. I realize the photo is not that great but you get the idea. Craig is right on!!! Watermelon back, pearl white or clear with holo flakes belly and a dark smoke lateral line... Jim

GB GONE
Looks good enough to eat Jim Thanks guys!! Hope the fish think so also!! The trout is a better color to me along with shad colors but the BB is good looking and fun to pour! I've done a few variations on it with gold flake in the belly area and a few gold flakes in the top also. Looks good any way it seems.. Jim PS Custom mold...... SwampBaits
I'll help Jim hijack it even more.... Jim, how long does it take in between pours on that mold?? Lots of thick plastic to let cool. Did you see Bass8baits swimbaits on ebay, from that exact same mold?? They are very nice looking too. BASS8BAITS
That is the same mold, very nice job Jim!
GB GONE
Yes. I have seen Javier's... They rock as always!! It is a hurry up and pour, then wait deal. Just like everything else, you get a rythem! I really like doing them and that baby bass was my first try. Bad part is you have a LOT of plastic when you "practice" and since there is more than one color, you can't really re-melt and try again... PS Here is one of my shad's... wannabefishing
sweet pours, can only dream of getting that good... it looks like signature Bob's mold, looking at the squarish paddletail... i assume they produce well? never tried a soft plastic swimbait before, heck i don't know if we can even buy them locally
