While checking out what the pros used at the recent Guntersville tournament, I was surprised by one of the winning baits. Hank Cherry won the tournament, and his primary bait was a 3-inch, hand-poured curl-tail grub in chartreuse/silver flake. I didn't think those guys would even have that old bait in the boat. I used that exact setup to fish local ponds in the 80's and 90's. I still remember digging through the bargain bin at Woolworth's to find them. What's old is new again.

Most of the other baits used were more modern. Lots of chatterbaits, lipless crankbaits, and jerkbaits. With the upcoming black Friday sales, I'm considering jumping into that hobby. I go to the range at least once or twice a month, and ammo prices have me wondering if I should start reloading. Any suggestions on a press? I'm considering a single-stage press like an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. The calibers I want to reload are .308, 6.5 Creedmore, 357, .38 special, and 45 long colt. I also shoot 9mm, .223, and .22, but those I can usually find for a fair price.

I'm trying to make sense of what all the attachments do, but it's all a little bit over my head right now.
