The spinner part is easy but specifically the hackle feather tied on the wire shaft is the mystery. This is the only spinner to my knowledge that ties directly on the shaft. The part that is a great mystery is exactly what feather is used. I think it is a hackle but there is a big discrepancy whether it is a saddle hackle or hen hackle or what it is. ??? Up close it looks like bucktail hair but its not. Its a corse version of something. I think it is palmered around the shaft but not sure of that either. Does anyone here know definitively what this is made of and how to tie it? Youtube is no help with this one cause nobody seems to know how to tie it or make it. Anyone? Thanks

Bending Titanium Spinnerbait Shafts

I can see my ability to operate my boat nearing. I don’t have a vast number of jig molds maybe 2 dozen. They are an assortment of molds from 1/16 oz jigs to 1/2 oz. About all I use any more is my football jig mold and my Midwest finesse molds. My question is in general how much do you think I should ask for them?

I've been working on this for about a year and I just started making extras. It's what I came up with for a budget. it's basically the best I can make and maybe sell some for around $4.

The standard blade is about a 40 45 degree swing and nice lift I like it . I use a shallow cup seems to do good and I just press the blade between regular table spoons basically works good.

Now to get the same blade to tight spin I been banging a little V into the the tip of the blade and it seems to work good . Spins tight.. this is new for me so I'm still waiting to make extras before I make too many..

I like the 45 degree spin. More feel more lift looks good. I think I need both though, it's there differently good for trout.

Let me know what y'all think, enjoy.

This is the tight spinning blade above with the bang on the tip, it doesn't look bad with the bang there I'm thinking.

Slow death with swivel?
