Starts out tied on a #1 streamer hook it has a big fly fiber base. Next I tie in some barred orange saddle hackle for more motion in the water mixed with some copper flashabou. Then on top I tie plums of orange marabou. I put on a large foam popper painted black a set of red 3D eyes and I finish it off by pulling a cluster of flashabou through the popper to push more water and give it just the right amount of flash in the water.

I call this lipped, jointed stick bait style deer hair monstrosity the moped due to all the crap I get for fishing it around my dry fly purist buddies. The tail joints are foam slider bodies glued on in reverse, the rest of the body is deer belly hair.

These are another one of my creations,I call it the plasti fly,i started with a piece of stiff roll bar foam from a race car roll bar,cut it to the shape I wanted then dipped the body in yellow plasti dip, inserted stiff wire through the body the seal the entrance and exit of the wire with more plasti dip, added the hook and split ring, painted the body with black plasti dip then glued on the 3d eyes and added the through body lure skirts, this is indestructible, the foam combined with the outer shell of plasti dip hold up to pike, muskies, you name it,and it floats
