Yes, it does. Very carefully. Again, I'd rather walk you through it or refer you to previous posts or the "Library" at www.rodbuilding.org

It's not that difficult from a skill standpoint, it just requires sharp instruments, patience and time. You don't want injuries or to damage the blank itself. I'm not that good at typing step by step directions, the only reason I won't go into detail here. You can find everything you need to know, very easily and quickly at the above mentioned web site.
