Thank you Woodsac. This will help. I believe that the rods were older team diawa S models. They were blue handled. I am not sure what years they were produced. Denny Brauer still uses the flip stick of this type. But I am really not sure of my assumption. I will check these out. What is this web site you are talking about? I would love to visit it.

Well I found the rods. The model numbers that Woodsac gave me was the tip off. The first letters in the model numbers were BA_UST. This is the letters for the "Battler US Trail" models that Diawa Japan sells. I had seen these rods before, and the model numbers got me thinking. The foregrips have a design change for the latter part of this year. The price of the rods mentioned by Woodsac range in price from 300 to 380 dollars apiece. They also have Team Diawa Battler and Special Edition Battler rods. The Special Edition rods are in the 500 to 600 dollar range. Since Takahiro was using TDZ reels then this means that his rod a reel combos are between 700 and 800 each. Denny Braurer has been using this model flip stick lately. Thanks again for the help Woodsac.
